
Richard
DeBolt serves as the House Republican Leader,having
been first elected to the Legislature in 1996, representing
Washington’s 20th Legislative District.
Richard’s leadership duties have
included as House Floor Leader and Deputy Leader.

Currently employed at TransAlta as communications
and community relations director, Richard DeBolt formerly
was the director for the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of
Commerce.
Richard is an active voice for fostering
a healthy business climate in both Lewis and Thurston Counties
and for revitalizing the community’s economy.
Richard DeBolt has served in numerous
community organizations. He is an active Rotarian, and
current campaign chair for United Way of Lewis County.
